Paddle Sports Safety Course

December 25, 2014

Are you new to paddling or feel your paddle safety skills could use some honing? Were you aware the Oregon State Marine Board (OSMB) offers a paddle sports safety course?

I have taken the course and found it valuable even though I have been paddling for almost 50 years and have led paddle trips. In other words, even experienced paddlers will find the course useful.

The course covers all aspects of boating safety, rules of the road, and what to do in case you are involved in a boating accident. Once you complete the course, you will receive a certificate you can print out. And here's the best part, the course is absolutely free; you owe nothing, nada, zilch, zero.

Click here to register and begin taking the course.
